Error message "undefined" when trying to log in

This issue is tightly related to your server configuration. That's why the solution below might not work on all configurations. 

Solution

Go to the /admin directory on your server. If there is a file there called .htaccess, open it in a text editor. If there isn't such a file, download the .htaccess file attached to this article and open it in a text editor

If you opened your .htaccess file, follow these steps

  1. Add this code at the end of the file:
    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
    SetEnvIf Origin "http(s)?://(www\.)?(yourwebsite.com)$" AccessControlAllowOrigin=$0
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin %{AccessControlAllowOrigin}e env=AccessControlAllowOrigin
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Methods "GET, POST, OPTIONS"
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Headers "X-Requested-With"
    </IfModule>
  2. Replace yourwebsite.com with the actual address of your website. (Please note: Do not add to the website address http:// or www)
  3. Save the file and close it

If you opened the .htaccess file attached to this article, follow these steps

  1. Replace yourwebsite.com with the actual address of your website. (Please note: Do not add to the website address http:// or www)
  2. Save the file and upload it to the  /admin directory on your server
