How to translate OMF in any language

Here's how to translate OMF in your language. Follow these steps:

  1. Copy the directory
    catalog/language/english/omf to
    catalog/language/your_language/omf
  2. Go to the directory
    /catalog/language/english/module
  3. Copy the files that end in
    _mobile.php
    to /catalog/language/your_language/module
  4. Now you can start the translation. Open the files you have copied in steps 2. and 3.
    in any text editor, e.g. SublimeText.
  5. All lines are in this format:
    $_['text_account']    = 'Account';
    Your translation must replace only the word Account in this case. For example, if you're translating to French:
    $_['text_account']    = 'Votre compte';
  6. The same goes for all other rows in all language files.

If you'd like to help other people who have this problem, you can send us your translations through the contact form on this website.

Please note: If you're editing any of the files on a Mac, do not replace the single quotes ('). Otherwise, the translation will become invalid.
